Hi there! I'm Sahana, and I'm incredibly proud to be the Founder of Willow Maidens. From a young age, cricket captured my heart, and it's been my passion ever since. As a high schooler still actively playing, I've seen firsthand how crucial it is for girls to have the support and resources to pursue their love for the sport. My motivation for starting this non-profit is simple: to empower women in cricket by removing financial obstacles. Willow Maidens specifically collects, repairs, and distributes gently used cricket equipment, making sure that girls in need have access to the gear necessary to play. Through our fundraising initiatives and donation drives, we're giving every girl the chance to live out her cricketing dreams. 

As a distinguished contributor to cricket, she blends her professional experience as a player with a celebrated career as a high-performance coach. She is renowned throughout the Indian domestic circuit and at the grassroots level as a top-tier coach, respected for her result-producing abilities, deep strategic knowledge, and analytical approach to the game. A fierce advocate for female athletes, she has passionately empowered countless young women across India to pursue cricket through her influential non-profit initiatives and dedicated coaching. We sincerely thank her for being the esteemed mentor for the Willow Maidens and a true driving force for cricket in India.
